Best Uses for DMSO

For years DMSO has been used for the topical relief of inflammation and pain.

While sometimes referred to as the “wonder drug” after much recognition that it gained in the sixties by Dr. Jacob; the FDA doesn’t recognize it for medical uses.  However, the well-known story of Dr. Jacob’s use of it when he first administered DMSO intravenously to paraplegics provided astounding results.  Many of the paraplegics regained use or at least partial use of their limbs after only a few months.

While unbelievable results were shown in Dr. Jacobs and other clinical uses via intravenous method, DMSO is frequently and safely used topically.

DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide) helps to relieve inflammation in joints and muscles and particularly popular among athletes.  It is used to speed up the healing time of injuries resulting from competition or hard workouts. It is also good in relieving arthritic pain, as it has natural anti-inflammatory properties that offer fast relief.

With its effectiveness on diminishing inflammation, DMSO is used to help reduce swelling in brain and spinal injuries.  When applied within the first four hours after an injury, it reduces inflammation and opens up the blood vessels, which allows for more oxygen supply to injured body parts.  This is important because long-term effects from such dangerous injuries are usually the result of lack of oxygen and build up of blood and fluid that causes the damage.

There is also evidence that DMSO helps to repair tissue and cells, this is very beneficial to Alzheimer’s patients and cancer patients alike.  The innate ability to do this tissue and cell repair goes even further as research has revealed that DMSO actually helps to repair the powerhouse of the cells, known as the mitochondria.

There is much compelling evidence on the many uses and benefits of DMSO, however the FDA only recognizes it as being used for a bladder inflammation known as interstitial cystitis.

Available as a solvent, DMSO is economical and very useful in pain relief.

  5. Is DMSO a good treatment for nervropathy

  6. Yes, it is very good for that. Just be careful not to use it at the same time as blood pressure lowering medication. DMSO makes the medication so much stronger and will make the blood pressure too low.

  7. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
