DMSO for Major Health Issues

While DMSO is not recognized by the FDA as a medical treatment, research that has been conducted since the 1960s, on the uses of DMSO and has shown much promise.  While it is routinely used for mild use such as for headaches, inflammation, acne and muscle relief, it has also been used medically in the treatment of stroke, angina and cancer with positive results.

Research conducted on individuals suffering from stroke, if DMSO is given during the stroke, it will help stop it or if administered within a few hours after the occurrence of stroke, it opens up the blood vessels and increases oxygen and blood supply to the brain.  In studies, this method has shown marked improvement in some stroke victims.

Additionally, when DMSO is used within four hours of trauma injuries by applying it to the skin near the affected area, such as for brain or spinal chord injuries, it again helps circulation, reducing swelling and long-term damage. 

In recent years Dr. Morton Walker has also conducted studies on the uses and benefits of DMSO and in his usage of DMSO on heart attack patients, it helped prevent long-term damage to the heart muscle. 

DMSO’s ability to quickly absorb through the skin is very beneficial in helping a sprain heal, destroy bad cells, such as cancer cells and boost healthy cells.
